nyu stern vs. wustl olin

I just want an NYU perspective on my decision. I've also decided that art doesn't really matter, since nyu is very art-filled and I can do it on my own and take classes with elective credits (you can do that across schools at nyu, right?)

I've also decided I'll be happy wherever I go. Wash U provides a traditional experience and NYU a city experience. Are there any negatives to not having a campus? [say, as opposed to Columbia...] I know that at NYU it'll be easier to get internships but don't tons of people compete for those? And how is the general atmosphere at NYU? Is it negatively competitive or is it cooperative? I know people who go to NYU tend to be more focused and driven, as opposed to people who go to a midwest school.

I plan on studying marketing and maybe management. I realize Stern is a slightly better school but the atmosphere in Wash U. in St. Louis is incredible.

Some of my friends put it this way: if i go to wash u I'll be happier but if I go to NYU I'll get farther.

also, I don’t know if I plan on going to grad school, but I probably will.

NYU Stern will give you more of an advantage for later on.

I wouldn’t say that being at NYU means you’ll be less happy, you’ll just have to try a little bit harder to make friends since there’s no campus.
