<p>Hello all, I am a senior in high school and I just wanted to know what were my chances in getting accepted into NYU Stern regular decision. Here are my stats:</p>

<p>Male
South Asian American
Public High School in New Jersey
Mother went to Florida International University
Father went to the University of Illinois</p>

<p>94.534 GPA (Weighted) Top 20%</p>

<p>AP Classes Taken:
10th: US History (2)
11th: AP Calculus AB (5), AP World History, AP Language and Composition (4), AP Macroeconomics (5)
12th: AP Microeconomics (In Progress), AP Statistics (In Progress), AP Environmental Science, AP Physics C, AP Literature and Composition </p>

<p>My grades have had an upward trend: 91 GPA Freshman Year, 93 GPA Sophomore Year, 97 GPA Junior Year, 106 First Quarter of Senior Year</p>

<p>ACT: 34 Composite, 34 Math, 34 English, 34 Science, 33 Reading, 10/12 Writing
SAT II: Math II (Will get result in two days), Bio E/M (Will get results in two days), Math I (Will get results in two days)</p>

<p>Vice President then President of Youth Club Community Service Organization
Cofounder and Vice President of Computer Science Club
2nd Singles and Captain of Varsity Tennis Team

<p>Essays written really well</p>

<p>Very good teacher recommendations one from Macro Econ teacher/FBLA Club Advisor and other from AP Calculus Teacher</p>

<p>Counselor recommendation is amazing</p>

<p>I also want to know if putting I dont need Financial Aid would improve my chances or not. </p>

<p>Impressive high school transcript! I don’t see why you wouldn’t be admitted. You have fantastic E.C’s by the way! Also you have a very competitive ACT score. Nice job! Id say you’re a definite admit!!</p>

<p>ED II would help, but I don’t think you’d need it. I’d consider NYU a low match for you.</p>

<p>You’re totally in. ED2 helps, but you wouldn’t need it, save the chances for other eager applicants maybe? ;)</p>

<p>Wow, thank you all. NYU is my top choice so if I get accepted into Stern I will definitely be going. I just heard from a lot of people that it was extremely difficult to get into!</p>

<p>Even though some of your application needs some tweaking you are good to go because of your ACT

<p>@Sanimr‌ but im sure a good ACT score is not all you need to get into Stern right?</p>

<p>@boogapenguin that’s true but you ACT is above the 25% mark at NYU which is phenomenal. I am just concerned about your class rank unless your school is super competitive.</p>
