NYU Stern

<p>What are my chances of getting accepted at Stern if I apply early decision? Here is some of my information:</p>

<p>I attend a NJ public school </p>

<p>GPA: 4.024 weighted
Rank: 26 of 283 (top 9%)</p>

<p>SAT I: 2030 (M 760, V 600, W 670)
(I don’t intend on retaking them)</p>

<p>SAT II: MATH IC 750, MATH IIC 800, CHINESE 800, BIOLOGY 630
(I don't intend on retaking biology)</p>

<p>AP:
Computer Science A- 5
Biology- 4
U.S. History- 3</p>

<p>I get mostly A's and B's in all honors and AP courses.</p>

<p>Strong recommendations from counselor and computer science teacher.</p>

<p>E.C.:
~Art club (officer), Computer Club (officer), Math Club, Teacher Assistant, National<br>
Honors Society, Spanish Honors Society.
~a lot of work experience at Best Western hotel as a front desk receptionist and 4 yrs experience as swimming instructor at YMCA.
~I worked over the summer at a bakery and my Chinese school
~some volunteer work at local library and YMCA</p>

<p>What percentage of Stern's class is admitted early?</p>

<p>Btw, I think you have a a decent chance.</p>

<p>there is no Stern specific stats that I know of. NYU as a whole takes 30 some percent of its class out of the early decision pool.</p>

<p>I've been trying to decide between NYU and Cornell hotel management, but I think I'm leaning towards early decisioning NYU.</p>
