Stern Finance is almost equal to Wharton's finance program.

10 charss winwin

It doesn't happen as much. Futurenystudent. And everyone knows that Sternies are Wharton rejects.

I heard there are some kids at Wharton who put laxatives in people's drinks before exams. I don't know if it's true, but that's what I heard. Fierce competition, if you aren't naive and pay attention, is at all the top schools.

hahahahaha now i want to go

lol, well i dont know but there must a reason why the general public, including nyu students in/not in Stern badmouth Stern so much?

^^true to an extent. people always complain about things that they like. i.e. jobs. Stern is a great school but, as I and others have said before, there are times when you hate it and the people in it. That's life. I doubt anyone loves every single facet of their school/job. This thread is just getting redundant now.

laxatives in peoples drinks? *** are you talkin about. i have never heard of that going on here. and if it does then i apologize but i think you are making things up now

Does anyone know how many people get fulltime offers from top investment banking firms every year at Stern?

**"Venus, dont post if you have nothing new to say.

And I never said I didn't know about Stern, work on your reading comprehension."**

Sweetlax, wow you get really frustrated when people disagree with you don't you? I have a couple suggestions. A - don't try to orchestrate what other people say, because if you can't deal with other people's comments, go back to elementary school and ****ing deal. B - You never said you didn't know about Stern... so that implies that you know a lot about Stern, eh? That's rather presumptuous of you, since you've never even heard Ross or Haas. Wow you must really know SO much about the business world, because of all your little friends. How cute:

"All my friends who go to ND got GREAT jobs coming out due to great recruiting down there. Same with Emory. Ive never heard of Ross or Haas before coming here."

Buddy, let me give you some advice. Don't come on CC if you get defensive because people don't agree with you. And don't start spurting insults and reiterating stereotypes that we've heard before and frankly don't give a **** about. Ok buddy?

Ok Buddy!!!!!!!

Again, I have to agree with gonsenheim in that "You should do some research and read up on these programs before you make comments on them that make you look like inept. Now we know who doesn't know what they're talking about."

Comments like Stern is completely made up of Wharton rejects make you seem retarded. Go play some sweetlax or something, because YOU'RE the one who doesn't contribute anything on this forum, hon.

OMG the laxative thing just made Wharton 100x more attractive to me :D

Let me guess. You're probably some stay at home mom who didn't go to college who drives her pathetic kids to soccer every day. I know I'm right.

Calling me retarded? Now look whose losing her temper.

And I will go play sweet lax you pathetic fool.

calm down sweetlax you've been making a fool of yourself all over these forums so why don't you take a time out. people come here for advice from intelligent people who have something useful to contribute, not your stupid comments. your posts consistently make no sense and offer terrible advice. why don't you start enriching your knowledge about the subjects you are blabbing about before you come on here and waste everyones time and throw insults around like you're on jerry springer.

and to answer your question warren_buffet, it isn't a fixed number--the number varies every year. But I can tell you that every BB except for DB recruits at NYU and I know of around 25 people who got offers from BBs (Goldman, Merrill, JPMorgan, Morgan Stanley, Lehman), plenty of others from excellent banks (Lazard, Houlihan Lokey, Bear Sterns, Bank of America), and even more kids who got offers from MM banks in ny. Stern has excellent IB placement--I would say in the top 5 for universities in the US, and top 3 for undergraduate bschools.

Gonsenheim, I could really care less what this forum thinks of me. I could care even LESS (if thats possible) of what you think of me. Whoop-de-doo, I'm not like on some college forum for grade grubbing high schoolers and stay at home moms who have nothing else to do except tout the ivys.

I know you're wondering why I'm still here. Basically I'm here because I'm bored and I like watching pseudo intellectuals ( like yourself) argue and talk about college. Besides, Ill be done with this forum in a month or so when the school year ends.

gonsenheim...only 25 people? I wouldve thought at least 50 got offers

haha don't mistake my attitude for a stay at home mom's simply because I treat you like a two year old. If you've read my other comments, you'd know that I'm a high school senior, to be part of NYU Stern's Class of 2011. Maybe you should do a little research next time or what was it you said? Oh right. Work on your reading comprehension.

...That has nothing to do with reading comprehension. No wonder you were defending Stern so much you biased little twat. Enjoy your little cutthroat school!

Oh of course I'll enjoy school in NYC. Have fun at your precious southern/mid-western schools you little hill billy. Go back to telling people online that they're biased because that's just so ****ing original, cocksucker. Have fun convincing other people that Vandy and N.D. are actually better than Stern, good JOKE
