NYU Stern?

For business schools, what kind of volunteering and internships do you do? So far, ive been concentrated on pursuing medicine, but this summer, im beginning to change my mind, and this really sux, because so far a lot of my volunteering and stuff has been in healthcare related environments.. eek, I'll be a junior next year, so ive got time, i hope.. but what kind of things can i do now to get into top schools like stern or wharton?

there is a combined degree for public health/business in NYU I think. and there is also a joint degree program @ penn for wharton and school of nursing.

what kind of volunteer opportunities and interning to students interested in business degrees pursue?

Stern! Well, I would suggest you get involved in a small business type of thing. Ask around to see if any of the small companies need help (filing, secretarial work...ect.), But rest assure that Stern also wants to see someone who has compassions, which by the voluntary work you do, won't be a problem.

wait, so it doesnt matter what kind of volunteer work you do as long it has some variety? Is it ok to do medical related volunteer work along with business related even if you decided to pursue either degree?

I suppose. But I would really suggest you try and get involved in some type of business dealing. But the medical related volunteering stuff won't hurt.

volunteering will get you no where...you need to suprise NYU with something different

lol.. like WHAT?
