NYU Stern

I'm a senior in high school starting to apply to business schools. I got a 31 on the acts and 1370 on the sats and I have a 4.0. I do a lot of extracurricular activies and community service as well. I'm very interested in attending NYU's business school, but I'm not sure what concentration I want to pursue. Because it is so competitive, do you think I have a chance or should I stick with other schools like University of Miami or maybe USC. Or do you have any suggestions about which schools would be a match. And do you think its better if I decide my concentration now?

Yes, you have a chance; however, that does not mean that you should go to NYU. Yes, it is prestigious and has good wall street connections. Miami is still quite good, cheaper and a lot of fun, not to mention has fabulous weather and , in my opinion, some of the most gorgous students around. Also, if you want to live in or near Florida. Miami has a huge and powerful alumni that gives good job prospects. If I were you, I would not go solely based on rating ( if that is what you are doing). I would check out the culture and envirnment of the school. NYU is a big place and not for everyone.
