<p>Okay, so I know I should know this already, but I just wanna double-check: when NYU asks to elaborate on "academic area of interest," it's okay to write about the major you're applying with, right? Or does it have to be like english/math/science kinda thing?</p>

<p>For the first supp- Why NYU?- do you think it’s a good/bad idea to talk about a teacher who got his PhD from NYU? I was going to say that he’s a really smart guy and then give NYU the credit for their great academics</p>
