Do the answers to the 4 personal statements need to be answered in the space provided or do they need to be essays?
[I'm hoping they only have to be a paragraph...haha]

Wasn't it 250 words? You can't possibly formulate an essay with that many words. It's short answer.

Does anyone know if the personal statements for the online Common App supplement will be the same as the ones for the paper supplement?

Yes. They're all the same.

^ OK, thanks!

The online supplement is there now, it limits the statements to 500 characters, which isn't even 250 words. That seems extremely short.

They really are quite short. I remember with mine, I wrote out a short answer that I wanted to use for each question. Then I had to go back and edit and re-edit until they were short enough to fit in the limit.

Yeah, they are really short. You really have to get your thoughts across in a concise and succinct way, so make sure not to get wordy.

I found them too short too! This is where we have to get creative guys!

hooray! all done w/ the supplement!!

Wow congrats!
I'm still working on my Wharton ones...

don't worry. finishing it sooner doesn't mean the decision will come out sooner

Haha. clever.
