NYU Tisch Dramatic Writing BFA vs other BA

Hi everyone,

I’m an international applicant interested in English/Fine Arts programs. I’ve been looking quite seriously at the BFA program at Tisch lately, does anyone know anything about this program? As in, what is taught, what students learn, and what students go on to do afterwards? I was seriously considering a BA English at Columbia/Harvard and then going onto an MFA, but I’m thinking the BFA might be better. Is this uh, wise? I am obviously interested in a career in writing. Where I am, no one has even heard of Tisch and the local universities are the same quality (but have less prestige) than NYU. All I know about Tisch is that Lady Gaga went there for a bit. And I’m not picking a university based on that. So, any help is appreciated.

here’s the link to the course offerings. Have you looked around on the TIsch website?
