There are several options but most people chose to send in the <10 min film. The most important thing that Tisch Film looks for is your story telling ability. So if your film has a clear plot, you’re already halfway there.

If you go on facebook and type in NYU Tisch Film, groups will come up and people who were admitted put up their videos so you can check those out for some ideas.

It doesn’t have to be amazing or extraordinary, we’re just teenagers after all and most of us not very experienced. As long as you show promise/potential.

[YouTube - chrisbima’s Channel](http://youtube.com/chrisbima) That’s my youtube account, I sent in a music video titled 5 Percent, it was the first film project I ever made so experience definitely isn’t a necessity. Hope I was of help. :)

Yap, as chris said, its all about your storytelling potential. You can check my portfolio film on my channel aswell: [YouTube - originalcrush’s Channel](http://www.youtube.com/user/originalcrush)

Originialcrush, I must say I loved your video!
Did you get in with tha video? and was it really okay that ‘dick’ and ‘*****’ were said like a few times?

Also, I was wondering what do you guys think the averageHS GPA (UW) of a tisch student is? thanks for the vid btw I thought it was hilarious :)

I read somewhere that the average GPA is around a 3.4. I’m not sure if I believe that though, because most people on here who are accepted have around a 3.6-3.7.
