<p>since you’ve bumped, here is my 2cencts
I don’t know much about photos but I don’t see why you can’t get in from your stuff. is it more of stats issue?
have you asked in NYU forum?
poeple don’t “chance” academics EC wise much here in art.
if you are from Long Island, you must know load of people goes or tried NYU.
do you even like the school, have you visited, can you afford it?</p>

<p>They get around 300-400 applicants every year and only 30-35 get accepted. I’ve asked the NYU forum but no responses. The reason I asked here is that beauty is in the eye of the beholder so whatever someone might like, NYU might not like.</p>

<p>I’m trying to gather as much critique on my portfolio as possible to see my chances. I’ve asked 5 people who were accepted to the program and they said my work was fine, but then again, who knows. </p>

<p>And yes, I know a lot of kids that go to NYU but mainly in CAS and Stern. I do love the school, and have visited many times. All the hookah bars I go to on the weekends are right by NYU haha. And yes, my parents can fortunately afford it w/o financial aid.</p>
