Anybody know the transfer rate into NYU Tisch? Is it a lot harder than for freshman?
Tisch has different acceptance rates for each major and does not publish any of their acceptance rates for any of their majors, unfortunately.

I’m going to be attending in the fall (not Tisch), and the acceptance/transfer rates vary by specific major. Also, Tisch is only 50% academic. The other 50% is based on talent, so once your objective scores reach a certain point, only your subjective skill will help you gain admission, so it really does not matter what the acceptance rate is, only on your personal ability.

The acceptance rate for freshmen is around 2% and for transfers its much more difficult to get in and is under 1%
