hell yea NYU's track teams nasty. its D3 but we can beat some D1 schools lol. I'm not recruited by NYU track, but i can 'walk on' to the team. My times for the 1600 is 4:45ish, 800 is 2:05ish.

as a junior i run the 800 in 2:10.

I run the open 400 in 54.5

Will i have a chance to run on the team with these times.

Tunit no offense but i don't think NYU's track team's that good. I was just looking up nyu's track website and so far their best sprinter ran 11.5 for the 1, which is slower than me. Their jumpers also aren't exactly great either. THeir only jumper listed on the website jumps 41 for triple and less than 20 for long. But it's definitely good for people who want to continue track in college though.

Question for you guys.

I talked to someone who went to NYU the other day.

He told me at this school for:
-Academics
-Social
-Sports

Pick two of the three. Is that a accurate characterization?

I always thought you had to pick two of: Academics, Social (which is anything recreational including sports), and sleep. Is that true?

i saw their cross country team running in Holmdel Park(you monmouth county runners know where i am talking about)
they are mediocre but i guess they are good for D3
i definately seen better teams than them

correction...NYU TRACK is so so. NYU XC is pretty damn sick.

but it is still division III

do they have intramural football

i know intramurals are not a sustantial part of campus life, but are they still happening? Especially Basketball. Are their recreational tennis and squash tournaments?
