Hey guys!
I am thinking about applying to NYU for Fall 2017
I went to SUNY school for a semester and I just dropped out because I wasn’t doing well.
I went to Community college for a year and a half and I left with 3.9 GPA. I transferred to CUNY school and I am about to complete my first semester here.
I initially wanted to study music technology but my interest changed to music business.
My current school doesn’t offer any music business programs so currently I am majoring in Music BA but I want to transfer.
As I stated, my community college gpa was 3.9 and I think I will probably get 3.2 gpa after is semster. (It’s low, i know)
For my extracurricular activities:
- I have a certificate degree on audio engineering
- I interned at professional studio for 6 months
- Worked as a Sound guy for couple band gigs
- Every sunday I do the sound for my church
- Was a social media manager for a studio
- I tutor people music and sound engineering

I feel like there are no recent threads about NYU music business 
I know my grades arent that great but I am really passionate about music and the business aspects of this industry.
Any tips or recommendations are welcome
