NYU Transfer - "Accept Offer of Admission"

Quick question.

When NYU's Online Albert thing gives me the option to Accept Offer of Admission, is it legally binding?

Or does it work like a Deposit; I can still choose to not attend even after I accept the offer, except that they keep my deposit?

The only reason I ask is because they've given me until April 26 to enroll in NYU (since they admitted me at the earlier on in April) and I'm still waiting for decisions from other schools that don't give me their decisions till mid-May or so.

So, I'm wondering if I should just enroll now to make sure I have at least a secured spot at a college, but don't want it to bind me down from attending another school if it gives me better financial aid, etc.

Just enroll, it’s none binding because you didn’t apply for early decision. Only early decisions acceptances bind you to a specific Uni.

You can deposit now and then, if you decide not to attend NYU, simply call them and tell them you will not be attending. You just won’t get your deposit back.

There are no legal issues with college admissions; no school will come after you or try to force attendance. And ED is not binding when you apply for financial aid; if they don’t offer enough, you just decline the offer and apply elsewhere RD.
