NYU Transfer Chances!? Helllp!

Ok, so here are the stats.

HS GPA: 2.8 UW
SAT: 1200
University of North Florida:
College GPA: 3.94 (Over 64 Credit hours, I will have my AA before transferring)
Major: Double Major English and Philosophy
Minor: Art History

1) Two awesome letters of rec
2) Not a lot of extracurriculars, but I did work.
3) Will have AA after this semester, and will have completed the UNF Honors program (which is an actual program that you have to take classes for!).

What do you think my chances are? I'm a good writer, so I think my essay is good. I am just super nervous that I won't be accepted even though I have almost a perfect GPA and professors than adore me.

Any input would be great! Thank you!!

NYU what? CAS? Tisch? Stern?

As an English and Philosophy D. Major, I think I'm going to be in CAS.

I think you're a good applicant. I'm sure NYU takes into account that youhave ha dthe job, hopefully youve been a full time student all along, and things like being on the dean's list count as ec's.

hs records don't matter after a certain amount of units, i forget what the nyu standard is tho. but it looks like youre well above the credits issue.

Thanks for the response! Anyone else have any input?

bummmmmmp..........

Come on! Some has to know if these look promising. I'm going to die waiting until Mid-December!!

Yea you have a VERY good chance of getting in.
