NYU Transfer Fall 2019

I also applied to Steinhardt – no news today for me either.

Steinhardt here…the wait is too long

Does nyu release decisions on Fridays?

me too

@ready2uni no, only thursdays based on the trend of the last couple of acceptances

Tisch applicant here! No portal changes all day (I checked early this morning and then around noon), but I received an email about 3 this afternoon about a status update. I was accepted! Good luck everyone! So thrilled.

Steinhardt applicant. I was rejected today. Good luck to everyone still waiting to hear!

First of all, I am so sorry. Just remember, YOU weren’t rejected; your APPLICATION was.

how do you know if youre rejected? i hate waiting lol i applied to steinhardt in october

@scardeycat Thank you  I’ll try to stay positive. Also @kmalin I found out my decision when I went to my portal. It said the admissions decision was available. When I clicked “View Decision” it was a rejection letter.

@singingcoffeecup what was your major? Also steinhardt applicant

@something5678 Hi there, I read your comment about Tisch and it really stuck with me. I also applied to Tisch Film & TV but still haven’t heard back yet. My heart goes out to you right now. I can tell how passionate you are about this even from one comment, and I know that an amazing path awaits you! Some wise words I’ve heard on this chat before were “You weren’t rejected, your application was”. I think it’s important to not let someone’s opinion change how we view our work. Congrats for making it through this process! Best of luck in whatever you pursue!

@kmalin Dang, applied to Stein in October?! And I thought I applied pretty early (Feb) for CAS lol.

Supposed to be studying for my final but I’m having trouble concentrating because of all this skdjksjdlkasjdkljd

Good luck next Thursday, everyone!

I am a CAS candidate and my financial aid part changed today… but didn’t hear back

My financial aid can’t be uploaded several days ago. Is that the change you mean? @kcasssuu

@enigmaticboy I was applying for a major in Vocal Performance with a specialty in Music Theatre

In my opinion, the worst possibility now is that all positions are full and we can only wait for that the people admitted give up their offers

Can someone explain where they see financial aid changing to 2020 or changing at all? In my portal it just has a checklist of completing my fafsa and CSS and I’m confused as to where things would change

Accepted to CAS yesterday! My email came mid afternoon but went to my spam folder so I didn’t see it until much later. Congrats to everyone else who got in!

@nervygirl1 Check on Albert, should be under you finances tab.
