NYU Transfer Fall 2019

anyone get any portal changes or Albert changes?

@persaud10192 my financial aid year shows 2020– that happened last night!

@taylor99 awesome! hope that means something good lol.

To do the College Report you print it off from the common app. I got mine here: https://undergrad.admissions.columbia.edu/sites/default/files/ca_2018_college_report_form_0718.pdf

I then filled out the top part and then handed it in at the Records office at my school, explained to them what it was for, and they had it ready for me by the next day. Then i scanned it and submitted it through the NYU applicant portal. Make sure your school puts their official seal on it. Some schools won’t let you send it to them and require that your school sends them the College Report instead to consider it official. But for NYU i believe you can email it to them or submit it thru the portal and they’ll take it. And yes it is required

@taylor99 Where do you see the financial aid year status?

@hfirchow Login to albert, click on the financial aid tab, click “Accept/Decline Awards” or “Satisfactory Academic Process (SAP)” and that’s where mine is! Under Aid year it says 2020, institution says NYU, and aid year description says “inquiry access denied”

Hi everyone!

I have a question regarding the standardized test. Am I supposed to submit my SAT score even though I am applying as a rising junior?

@okurrr pretty sure that the standardized tests are optional to send in. Though since you’re a rising junior I don’t believe it’s necessarily a requirement as you’ve completed a good few semesters of college already. Though, it’s still your choice, send it in if you believe it’ll help.

@taylor99 did you apply for financial aid?

@happiboi33 I submitted the FAFSA and CSS, but the noncustodial parent CSS profile didn’t get there on time! But since I submitted FAFSA, any aid awards packages would just be loans!

anyone applied to Stern??? :smiley:

My transfer credit report just showed up with the classes that I am receiving transfer credit for… and I have a notification that says I will be informed of my decision later today! I think this is a great sign!

@taylor99 definitely a good sign!! Prayers for you!!

@taylor99 what is your major?
