Firstly, I just want to say a big UGH to this waiting game. Somehow I feel like they have a system, it’s not just based on last years trend. Maybe apps are done alphabetically? Thinking about 6/7 days of responses for Gallatin/CAS/Steinhart so three ‘last name letter’ groups a week. It’s farfetched and since no one puts their name up as their user name, I have no data to support it. Just seeing that the last person to get accepted on this chat at least has a last name that ends with a K. It’s definitely not done by order of submitting. Any responses from Gallatin this week?
I haven’t heard anything from Gallatin, and my last name is early in the alphabet. I have no idea how the review works!
Okay Steinies, there HAS to be a Steinhardt wave next thursday. We’ve waited so long and the majority of decisions have been CAS, Gallatin, a handful of Tisch, and a sprinkle of Stern. I have a really strong feeling about it!!!

Hi! I’ve been a long time lurker of this page and I think it’s time to make a contribution. I’m a transfer student from a CC in WA state hoping to transfer to Tandon as an IDM major. I had some problems with my application and my CC advisor helped me call NYU admissions. They said that they’re still trying to fill as much spots as possible so if you haven’t heard back yet, be patient!! Hope this helps 
Oh and another thing, my friend was accepted to Tandon as a Mech E major so I guess Tandon is starting to gradually send out admissions decisions as well!! Good luck to all of us

hello all! long time lurker, i was accepted to CAS for journalism yesterday. I have an issue, though, (and I’ve seen it mentioned both on this forum and the previous one for last year!), where the purple button to confirm admission doesn’t seem to be appearing! I called the admissions office today, and they told me the basics, (clear my browser cache, allow pop-ups, etc), but nothing seems to be working. just wondering if anyone else who has experienced this issue can offer any advice!
also, to everyone waiting: I GET IT. it sucks, it really does. just keep your head up! i thought for sure i was rejected, so i was over the moon yesterday when i got my letter.
im getting sadder and sadder everyday 
I am suffering from waiting but I just want to all people here that never lose your hope. We are together and transferring itself is not easy at all, especially for excellent universities like NYU.

Hey all! This is totally eating me alive so I thought I should ask here. Did anyone receive an NYU email? If I have access to put a downpayment on housing is that a good sign? What does your NYU home portal look like for those who haven’t been accepted? Sending positive vibes to all of you!
@nsomekh I have the ability to put the $1000 down-payment for housing, noticed it about a week ago. I am not sure if that really means anything. I am a CAS Psychology major and I am anxiously waiting too.

Does everyone have access to the eBursar financial aid page? Because I just realized today I am able to put down a deposit for fall 2019 housing even though I have not received my decision yet. Does this have any significance or is it that way for everyone?
