any Tisch transfers that are attending the summer session? If so, which one and what class are you signing up for?
@frafont NYU are adamant about getting CSS profiles by deadline. You can submit fafsa late and still get federal funding, but you won’t get the NYU funding they need the CSS for.
Hello! Long time lurker, first time writer. I applied for Tisch Film and TV and am real real nervous lol. I have good stats, I think but I’m not quite there with my transfer credits from community college. I have a 4.0, but as of applying only had 17 transfer credits. By the time I transfer I should have 35, though, which is recommended. I dont know its just difficult waiting this long ahaha. My essays weren’t incredible but I think I did alright with my Film submission: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M9tJ3pqRV4k - I read somewhere in this thread that the final tisch decisions come out on thursday (the 16th) , so I’m holding out. I didn’t apply anywhere else (save USC but I dont think I’m going to go there even if I get in.) I figure if I dont get into my dream school this year, I’ll do another semester or two of community college and transfer next year to wherever will take me. Sorry to anyone reading this I just had to get the stress of waiting off my mind hahaha
Does anyone know when we’re suppose to hear back from Tandon? I think it’s usually May 15th right? I’m hearing back from UPenn today, but they at least lmk decisions would be out by 5:00pm.
I still haven’t heard back. will there be more decisions tomorrow?

Tisch applicants - do you think we will hear back today?? Really hoping I do, it would be so nice to take off some of the pressure of waiting as I’m sure many of us are in the middle of finals!
Why today? I thought NYU releases their decisions every Thursday?
@Jeff2019 Someone a couple pages back spoke to the admission office and said that they’re releasing decisions every Thursday (and all the decisions thus far came on Thursday so it makes sense)

To be honest I prob wont be getting NYU funding (if I get in) because I submitted my CSS a couple days late. Unless they somehow make an exception I wont even be able to afford it lolololol oh well
