NYU Transfer Fall 2021

don’t be sorry at all, you’re completely right

I totally agree with you. Having the opportunity to even consider college an option is amazing, but in return, it costs many of us stress and overthinking. Hopefully everything turns out okay in the end. Best of luck to you when decisions come out, and everyone else!!!

On last year’s thread, handfuls of decisions came out starting around 4pm on Friday April 17. That would be exactly one year ago today. I saw one Steinhardt, several Gallatin, a couple CAS and one nursing. Then the following Friday April 24 a handful more decisions released and a few on May 1st. Then a big wave of decisions on May 12. I would think this year would be about the same so I am hoping to see several of you guys with good news starting today!

Question on Albert, my D has only been on the NYU website that she submitted her app on but last year everyone talked about getting way more info on Albert earlier. I see it’s an NYU app but are any of you guys on it and if so (aside from internals) how did you log into it?

Good luck everyone! I bet in 28 days from now most if not all of you will have a decision!

Did anyone get a decision?

not me :frowning: not yet

no but Im an external applicant

Yah me too. I think maybe they didn’t come out today

nope, but I applied to Tisch… so my decision is 100% not gonna be in April

this is so weird bc last year they sent out the second wave already at this time but this year we haven’t heard back anything yet…

Why do you say that, @vicysh? I applied to Tisch one or two days before the April 1 deadline, so I wouldn’t expect to get a decision before May, but I was curious to know if Tisch is known to release decisions on a specific date or time. Thanks.

Since Tisch requires a supplemental/portfolio, I assume that’s why it takes longer. Last year a lot of people got their decision on May 12 for Tisch, so that’s why I’m assuming it’ll be around the same time this year.
