Hi! I am looking to transfer to NYU as a sophomore. My HS gpa was a 3.3 and my SAT was a 1770 but I have a 3.8 as a freshman. Do I have a chance of getting in? Ideally I would like to transfer into the Music Business major, but I was also wondering what the easiest school to get into is? Thank you!

Theres two of us now, party
I recently applied to NYU (The Steinhardt School) as a transfer student for Fall 2015. I am currently attending a CUNY community college here in NYC. My college GPA is a 3.8. I am a member of Phi Theta Kappa as well as Psi Beta. My extracurricular activities are: Volunteer work as an EMS dispatcher for FHVAS and student leader. I was also one of the twelve students who were selected for the REU program at Brooklyn College. I am receiving a stipend to conduct a clinical neuroscience research project at queens college (under the supervision of a doctoral student/mentor). I am applying for the Applied Psych program cause I think it’s truly amazing. Read the curriculum as well as the professors’ bio, and their research. Decent research. Oh and I am graduating from community college. Currently have 58 credits so I am only taking one course this semester along with my research work.
CHANCE ME!!!
I’m also applying for NYU Steinhardt Music Business program as a transfer student for Fall 2015. Attending Belmont University in Nashville TN with 3.93 GPA. I’m a Grammy U member and my extracurricular activities are: member of Copyright Society, Head of an Indie Record Label. Idk if I can get in but I’m just giving a shot… lol
I just want to let everyone in here know that there is another existing thread on NYU fall 2015 transfer students.

I’ve posted a comment in the other NYU 2015 transfer thread which may give you a little insight regarding admissions for NYU Steinhardt.
