If I freaked the hell out of anybody I apologize! Just trying to watch out for anyone just in case. But yeah, basically can’t do anything but wait anyway. Goodluck to all of us who are still waiting to hear back!

Thanks for the heads up, thewoman. I actually did try it (didn’t work) but now that I know people have gotten in trouble for it I’ll just wait for the mail. I didn’t realize there was such controversy over it!

Hey guys just thought you might want to know because your curious about people getting accepted or not, I found out April 27 that I was accepted to CAS.

Congratulations!! If you don’t mind, post your stats and yourself to the list. It would help out reapplicants and future applicans.

Okay, so I’ve come to the conclusion that CAS is the only school thats sent out acceptances so far. Theyve sent out a bunch pre- may and are sending out more IN may based on the number of people that paid their deposit. It makes me wonder when Stern will start accepting applicants though, considering the schools been rejecting kids for quite some time now.

um, “njnets” was accepted to Stern a few days ago and another applicant was rejected. so, stern decisions are starting to pour in just like cas decisions. cas has had more decisions so far just because they get so many applications. stern is a smaller faculty.

I knew people were getting rejected, I just hadn’t heard from anyone who had gotten in. Thanks for posting that thread.

I havent heard of anyone getting rejected from nyu yet.

Thats only one rejection so far right?

Umm its the one Ive read of on this forum, but I’ve heard of a couple kids who got rejected in my school. :/

so the no news is good news thing is working out. I bet this week will be the week for most colleges.

@Dhruvds werent you applying to Cornell too?

No, just Stern. [:
Have you applied to Stern to?

no i’m going for CAS. Isnt Stern really hard to get into?

Yeah it is. But I still thought it was worth a shot.
What are your stats like?

Their ok not great but i’ll share anyway.
hs gpa: 1.9 yea really low and it was like 5 years ago.
College gpa: 4.0 its at a Community College though
Major: Biochemistry but i’ll most likely change to chemistry
EC: Army 2 years before attending college, held a part time job and business internship while in school, tutoring, and joined 2 clubs at school, art work published at school, ptk, and 2 academic awards at school one for chemistry and one for grades.

yea not the best stats compared to the other people on cc fourms but hey i tried my best for 2 years and shooting for the best.

hows yours looking like?

Well you improved drastically, which I respect.
Mine are okayish. SATs (The worst bit, haha) CR: 670 Math 680
Currently at Boston University.
GPA: 3.87, Freshman standing.

yea i did try to improve. the most important thing i learned after highschool is that you will not survive out in the real world with out a degree of some sort. For me i actually found a passion for chemistry and biochemistry while in my cc. previously i just wanted a degree from a 4 year college but now i just want to further my studies. And o god dont even get me started on my sat scores haha
