I realllyyyyy want to check my netid but some people here have made me feel beyond paranoid that I might get rejected if they see that I’ve been checking it… But the tihng is I already checked it once a while back and I didn’t have a netid yet lollll so if I checked it once already… It won’t matter if I check again? ummmm what to do what to do

Just check it. I checked mine obsessively for weeks now LOL. it started to work about a week ago, and today I got my official acceptance package in the mail, so I wouldn’t worry about it. NYU has so much stuff going on right now, I’m sure that is their last concern.

@ NJtransfer24: what do you exactly mean by “worked.” I ask because I am trying to figure this out. When I click on the “continue” button it shows that I have been assigned a (two letter, three numbers) netid and that I need to continue to confirm it but i am too scared to further continue going through the pages. So, is that it??

Thanks!

@hookedongtown, that should mean you’re in!
@throwingmuses, you’re putting your N number in the wrong place. You have to go above that and click activate or something, should bring you to another screen that you put the N number in. The one you put it in wants your netID which is what you have to find out by putting your N number somewhere else. I was accepted over the phone Friday morning but tried the NetID thing on Thurs night and it worked.

lol, thanks!

second stern acceptance then!! :D

@hooked: I am not positive, but I’m fairly certain that if the NYU system recognizes your social, and you obtain any Net ID, mine was like Abc123, then you are accepted. I took it a step further and completed the set up of my NYU home/email/Albert - which you should be able to do as well.

sweett!!!

now, i am more anxious hahahahahah

i want that packet NOW!!!

STERNNNNNNNNNNNNNN :D

lol wow this whole thing is so exciting to see. Congrats hookedongtown, this weekend must be too long for you.

guys i tried doing that net id thing and it told me that only faculty and staff are allowed… MAD WORRED

but i also applied on April 1st the last day… Any thoughts?? I have 8 transfer credits from Harvard Summer School, 3.692 gpa with 14 credits from first semester, looking at a 3.91 this semester, but im still a freshman. I was the assistant president of the International Association of Business Communicators at Rutgers B School NB, and started my own entertainment business of which i am currently the owner and founder. was on deans list fall 2009 semester and will be agian. with the grades they have right now, they would be evaluating me on 25 credits, but i have 19 credits worth of grades pending for this semester… ANY THOUGHTS AT ALL PLEASE GUYS

sorry correction- submitted the app march 31st around 10pm

Huh. I can’t log in either. Time will tell, I guess.

that’s strange.

lioninwinter, if i am right you were admitted to g’town so i am pretty sure you’ll be admitted here too.

btw, you don’t have to “log-in” anywhere to find out. if there’s a netid assigned to you and you can see it on the first page after entering all the info and clicking “continue”, according to most people, you’re in.

Sorry–I wasn’t clear, but that is what I did. No netid for me…
Anyway, I have been accepted to a couple of schools I think I’m a better fit for, so no worries.
Good luck to everyone else!

or, it could mean they haven’t reviewed your file yet.

anyways, good luck and congratulations on your other acceptances!

hey guys. i am really really NERVOUS about this. i was able to activate my net ID a couple days ago. and i wasn’t sure what that means. i though every applicant should be able to do so. so i try to use Albert to register for courses and to see my enrollment information but my access to those was declined.

for those who are accepted, r u able to register yet though?

OMG… i am so nervous… i applied to Stern but my GPA is only 3.7 and i am an international students so that might put me in a disadvantageous position

Mazz0408, first off- congratulations! You got in. Second, when did you apply by exactly?
Oh and third, which school are you transferring from?

hey hey hey, i am really NERVOUS!!! 'cause some people said that doesn’t necessarily mean i am in. however, thank you. i check my mail box twice everyday to see if there is a letter from nyu. god

i submitted my application on March 30th night.

i transferred from U of Minnesota. I am in business school right now.

seems like there will be some stern acceptances sent next week :D
