<p>How long until you receive an email from NYU after you’ve sent in the common app + supplement? </p>
<p>Aside from the application and transcript what else do I need to send them and is it ok if the transcript isn’t in by the April 1st deadline?</p>

I emailed NYU because I was interested in the Global Liberal Studies program, and unfortunately they do not accept transfer students

State: Canada (McGill)
School applied to at NYU: Stern</p>
<p>College GPA & Year (freshman):3.7 First semester, currently 3.9 (lowest grade in Calculus!)
H.S. GPA ( W & UW if available): 4.0 (Rank=1)–> in India.
SAT(full breakdown): 2060–> taken only once.</p>
<p>Comments: My essays were slightly weak. I hope I was able to effectively convey my suitability for Stern. Didn’t apply to NYU in High School.</p>

<p>I haven’t heard from NYU AT ALL. but then i submitted everything ON THE DEADLINE lol. My college transcript was probably JUST received by them, even though it was postmarked on the 30th, because of the easter weekend delay. I need them to send me something! I am getting super anxious! Honestly, Canadian Unis who are mostly broke (like my school–honestly, it’s falling apart) have better tracking systems than most american ones!!</p>
<p>^ don’t be surprised, a lot of things suck in America. 
gotta admit, it’s not as great as it could’ve been & it’s only getting worse w/ budget cuts & all.</p>

<p>@hookedongtown - I submitted the day before the deadline too. I received an email confirming they received the app and then an email a couple days ago with a university id# in it.</p>

<p>I got a confirmation from Embark but no confirmation from the NYU office of Admissions. And no University ID # either! What should I do?? Please any help/advice would be GREATLY appreciated!! </p>
