NYU Transfer

Hi everyone,

Looking for a little insight into where I stand as a potential transfer. I am currently attending a ccc and have a 3.9 (hopefully that will get up to 3.93 when I apply). I would like to transfer to Stern for Accounting. I will have all gen ed and pre reqs finished in the fall of 2007 when I apply for transfer. I have had a full time job and been a full time student for the past two years. In case this matters, I have an accounting job with a great company. This would be my only EC besides AGS honor society. My main concern is my highschool gpa. I had a 2.4...not good I know. I graduated hs in 2002. Does it help that it has been four years since then?

How much of reach is this for me?

I posted this in NYU section but I thought I would get your opinions as well...

Your high school record shouldn't be weighted too heavily. I think you have a good chance.

Thanks mrmuirc!
