if you're trying transferring as a junior to NYU from a california community college, do you need to take the SAT or ACT?

um … don’t take my word for it but i’m pretty sure you do … NYU is a pretty competitive school and if you don’t have SAT’s then =/

i see…ecause im also applying to UCLA and USC and they do not require for me to take the SAT… maybe NYU is just out of state? possibly

dude maintain a high GPA
then u have shot

check NYU’s admissions website. if you haven’t taken either the SATs or the ACTs yet, they might not want you to and won’t care if you take them now.

whether or not that hurts your chances is another story. most transfer applicants will have taken one of those two tests and even some SAT IIs.

need sources for NYU girls not being selective.

well, i AM an NYU girl, and the quote is supposed to be ironic.

i heard it in line at the Bowery Whole Foods. (not even the Union Square one!)

yes I know it’s ironic, I was making a joke (ironically).
