Is it okay to finish up major requirements before transferring to NYU? Like their Psych major is nine classes, what if i do those nine psych classes before i transfer? Will it count as a completed major? Then I'd like to work on my second major and finish up gen ed. or something, all on account of if i get in of course.

Does anyone know?

since you’re planning on doing a double major it will probably be ok, but in general nyu likes you to do the classes for your major at nyu.

You dont know that they will accept them from where you transfer from. you are going to be really bummed if you have to take all 9 classes again. I would take a bigger range of classes if I was you. Good luck

^^^ agreed. NYU prefers if you take your major classes there, and they have every right to reject your psych classes and tell you that you have to take THEIR psych classes.

i would do your GE requirements. there are a lot of them at NYU.
