These schools are all realtively close academically, depending on your major, and within a few percentage points of each other in the selectivity category (assuming you are OOS for Michigan). This is a very nice list of schools for you, but you may want to put a couple of safety schools on your list if you don’t already have them already. Your SAT score is strong and so are your EC’s. Re-taking that SATII Bio is a good call. Your GPA is a little low for Boston College currently and probably is for some of these other schools as well. You said you are trying to get it to a 3.6 which is good because this would make you more competitive in the applicant pool. I specifically mention BC because that is the school I am most familiar with, since my daughter is an incoming Junior. I do think your impressive athletic EC’s will somewhat compensate for your GPA, but get it to a 3.6 or higher, if at all possible. Good luck, AGAIN (this is the 2nd time I’ve posted a reply to one of your chance threads).

I’ll let Olivertwist hopefully answer also… I think you have a fair chance with a 3.4 because of your athletic EC’s, but with a 3.6 you would have a much better chance. With a 3.6 and applying ED you would have an excellent shot, since the ED admission % increases dramatically. I still would not call Bucknell a safety school for you, however, unless your GPA was at 3.7 or higher.
