Im recently applying to NYU and I see that it asks you for a second choice school if you do not get into your first. My first choice is Stern which has been my dream school. WIll putting a second choice school decrease my chances of getting into my first choice school?
No. They consider you for the first choice, and if you are denied, only then do they consider you for a second.
