NYU v. Lehigh

Hi everyone!

I've been accepted to both NYU and Lehigh and plan to double major in economics and psychology. Any insight on which would provide a better program/experience please let me know.
I'd also like to consider the ease of ability to find a job post graduation.

What is the net cost for each?

Based on location NYU would probably be better for getting internships and a job right after graduation.

Have you visited both? They are very different.

NYU is a city campus, much more diverse, and lots more to do off-campus.

Lehigh is a residential campus is a suburban setting, not diverse at all, and little to do off campus but a lot to do on campus. Also has a very big greek life scene.

They appeal to different tastes so I’d be surprised if someone really liked both of them.

If costs are equivalent, attend NYU. Economics and Psychology here are tops.

Thank you for the insight -

Costs come down to be very close, Lehigh being less in regards to room and board and extraneous personal expenses.

Have you had any trouble balancing a double majoring at NYU?

Also which is more prestigious in regards to graduate school?

I’ve also been accepted to University of Pittsburgh’s Honors Program, not sure if this is comparable to the other two schools
