NYU vs Baruch

Hi,

I'm an international student. I have an admit from NYU for MS in Information System and from Baruch for MS in Business Computer Information System. I'm confused to choose between the two. Baruch is cheap and widely known in NY area. The course in NYU requires me to take half of the course in NY computer science department and the other half in Stern Business School. I'm looking for good placement immediately after graduation. Can any 1 guide me on this?

The CS courses are at Courant, one of the most widely know mathematics schools in the world. I say you better off with Stern and Courant. lots of international firms, including Google, go to NYU, not sure about Baruch though since im a NYU student. baruch i believe is better known locally than internationally.

if money seriously isn’t an issue and you’re looking for good placement after graduation I think you should go with NYU.

Seeing as you’re going for a Master’s Degree, the name recognition would be more important then a Bachelor’s Degree.

NYU all the way. You’ll get a higher starting salary coming from NYU than Baruch, no doubt about that.
