NYU vs. BC

There’s no point in even comparing NYU and BC. They are completely different. If you’re going to make a decision based on what people here say then you probably haven’t visited either college.

i feel like NYU and BC is a very common cross-admit pair. many people who like one actually do like the other. i am a rising junior, have visited both campuses, and NYU and BC are both in my top 3 or 4 schools. i think they are pretty even academically with a slightly different campus feel.

i think BC is good but as Jesuit school it probably requires some theology or religious course. hmm not my type. NYU is expensive because NYC is expensive (higher inflation price wise, higher salaries and larger economy despite the recession). NYU does have to pay more to feed us in NYC than for BC to feed their students in Boston therefore we pay more to NYU and generally less for BC.

I think it would really depend on what u wanna study. Business? Fine or Performing arts? Math or econ? NYU w/o a hitch. For anything else u might need to think.

i think we should look beyond NYU and BC. regardless, unless we enter and experience all colleges we don’t really know what schools fits us best.
