I visited Boston Univ. this past week and i didnt like their campus too much. i didnt like how it was really long.... I know how ppl complain about NYU's lack of campus, but is it that bad compared to BU? These schools are like my top 2 choices right now....so any opinions would help. Thanks

Both are urban campuses (if thats not your thing, neither school is for you). NYU's is probably more concentrated and nicer...Washington Square beats the ugly BU "quad" anyday, and NYU is in a more fun area. Most of NYU's academic buidings and freshmen dorms are in the Washington Sq. vicinity...so things tend to pretty near each other. NYU's upper classmen dorms are in the Union Sq. area (about a 10 minute walk from Washington Sq.), which is also a pretty good area (affluent, good night life, etc.).

Urban campuses are definitely my thing. Thats good to know that NYU is more concentrated. haha does BU have any quads? i didnt see any when i was there.

Thats why I put "quad" in quotes when talking about BU's (or lack therof). NYU's definitely a better campus than BU in my opinion. I reccomend you visit if you haven't done so.

I am visiting NYU next weekend. I hope i will get a good feel for it because i know ppl who love it there and i also know ppl who hate it there.
