Has anyone else ever decided between these two colleges? What did you like/dislike about these colleges? Which did you end up deciding on? Any advice?

As someone who lives in NY and got into BU but turned it down, I'd rather be at BU for most things. Simply because BU actually feels more like a campus, urban though it is. NYU is nothing remotely "college-like". It's just a part of downtown NYC-- which is awesome, but not what I'd be looking for in my college experience.

Both major cons of those schools to me is a lack of a decent campus, although Boston University does have somewhat a campus, including their medical school campus. They are also both located in a sizeable and vibrant city. They both are worth to be looked at.

I got into both NYU and BU. I'm from Cambridge, MA, right across the river from Boston.

Even though NYU doesn't have a campus, that shouldn't be the #1 reason why you shouldn't consider it...

BU recently installed a massive student center/athletic center. Really beautiful at night.

I would personally go to NYU, simply because it's in NYC. It's probably the best place to do your undergrad, considering you have access to so many different stuff, bars, clubs, etc...
