I was accepted to both NYU and George Washington University for RD. What do you think that bodes for Cornell Hotel School?

Well Cornell is tougher to get into than either of those schools, so without statistics, I don't know how anyone here could predict your chances for Cornell.

Especially w/ Hotel School which probably looks for some different qualifications. Anyway, GL!!

Your question is vague. Im familiar with both institutions and am a student at NYU. Be more specific so i can help.

Ok sorry guys, I have 1970 SAT I, top 15% of my class. 3.9 Weighted GPA, Good EC, GREAT Essays, Great Recs, 1+ years of retail experience. Also last year I had a seizure in class followed by brain surgery and I was able to maintain a good academic standing despite being hospitalized 4 times in the last year and a half. I also recently got a job at Disney World for the summer but Cornell doesn't know that. I'm also from Texas if that helps.

I'd say it's definitely a possiblity. It's really unpredictable but if ur personality and such go w/ the hotel school then I'd say there is a pretty good chance. Best of luck!

what about nyu stern vs cornell hotel

and
nyu stern vs cornell AEM

Like i said, vague. Do you have any specific questions? Social life? etc

If ur interested in Hotel then I'd go Hotel. The business programs vs. eachother is a matter of personal preference once u get to such high ranking and amazing programs.

career opportunities and social life

Career: Cornell (esp hotel school), Unless you are in Stern
Social life: NYU hands down. There's always partying in NYC

Well decision was made for me. Cornell rejected me...not even a GT.

GTs arent exactly passed out like candy so don't worry. At least for ILR I know only 40 people use the GT option so don't think u r the minority in not getting one. Just brush it off ur shoulder and have a great time at NYU. Best of luck at NYU, it is a great school!
