Hi y'all! So, with May 1st closing in on us, I am trying my hardest to make a decision, but NYU and DePaul are both coming so close to one another on the pros and cons list. One's pro is another con, etc.
So, here's the skinny.

NYU has put me in the studio Playwrights Horizons. Anyone have some advice on the studio itself? I'm a little worried about not getting work out of school--no showcase factor as well as the fact there are SO many people in the program. The chances of getting noticed are slim. I'd also love to know about SYA if anyone could tell me. They have a given me a pretty generous scholarship (of course, we will still be supplying a pretty significant amount).

DePaul has given me both merit and talent scholarships, so we would be supplying a lot less money to the tuition. I went to the admitted students day and I loved watching the classes. And the class size is way smaller, so personal attention is like WOAH. And with the new theatre facility, it is clear they are trying to invest a lot in the program.

Any students have experiences they could explain to me with either school? Or parents with stories to share? Please help! I'm working hard to decide. I'm getting to the end of the line.

:) Thank you guys.
