NYU vs. Fordham LC

Got off the waitlist for NYU Stern two days ago. Before NYU was my top but I’ve come to like Fordhams campus and programs and people since I’ve commited there. (Granted you find good and bad people everywhere but those at Fordham were more friendly and helping on the Facebook pages and stuff) Now I’m confused where I should go. I know NYU would automatically give me a better opportunity / network, not to mention the price at NYU is significantly higher since I got a good scholarship from Fordham. Also I’m not 100% set on what I want to do in Business, where as at NYU everyone seems to be very sure. A big thing for me is being able to travel and meet new people, and while I know NYU is more diverse, I heard it’s harder to meet people outside your major.
So yes I’m confused, please help. Is there anything you like/don’t like about Fordham or NYU. Which one is better overall?

@lilconfused7 I will give it to you flat out. NYU Stern is of course better and more respected than Fordham Gabelli School of Business. More opportunities at NYU, especially from the top big four firms. That tuition you will be spending on at NYU won’t mean much once you start rolling in that 6 figure salary. If I were you I’d go to NYU because I know i’d have better opportunities from the top 4 firms there. But it’s all, at the end of the day up to you. And when it comes to being social and making friends, that all depends on how your personality is. You’ll have opportunities to make friends at any college. Just have a nice positive vibe. Good Luck!

@Russianhacker do you work at a top 4 firm?

Im still a college sophomore, debating on either studying accounting or finance. However, I know a few people in my family who work at top 4 companies such as, KPMG, Deloitte, and PWC. Most of them were Stern and Columbia business school graduates. Majority of the companies go to Stern and Columbia looking for students to do internships for them. Sometimes students get offers before they even graduate. Not saying that at Fordham they don’t, but I know these companies favor those students more at the top schools like Stern and Columbia.
