NYU vs GWU Help!

Hey guys so here's the situation... My two absolute favorite schools after visiting all of them are New York University and George Washington University. Now, here is all of my admissions info: 3.3 unweighted gpa (I know this is very low), 2050 SAT (hopefully improving soon),Student Council all four years of High School, Yearbook Club all 4 yrs, school newspaper 3 yrs. Hockey team varsity all 4 yrs, freshman football and freshman lacrosse teams, Volunteer Work with:Special Olympics, local library, Eva's Kitchen (local soup kitchen). I have taken one AP class sophomore yr, 2 junior year, and 4 senior year plus one honors course (7 total plus one Honors). I have never taken an easy class such as Foods or Auto. I also had a very solid interview for both schools, and I know that my recommendations were pretty solid as well. My essays were great too. *For NYU, one of my uncles was a research professor there for a short stint in the 80's (He also got his MBA and PhD from NYU), and a cousin of mine also went to NYU Undergrad.

I do realize that my GPA is very low for these schools (I even wrote about this in my personal statement). Can someone please give me a vague idea of which school I have a better chance at getting accepted to? And the percent chance of me being accepted?

Thanks in advance!!!

Definitely apply to Boston University. It has an urban campus and a diverse student body, just like GWU and NYU. You should be a match too - I got it in with a 3.3 UW, 2080 SAT, and super blah ECs. Got waitlisted at NYU.

Thanks, BU is also in my top choices! Any views on which school has harder admissions between GWU and NYU?
