NYU vs. Johns Hopkins Uni vs. George Uni

Hi all; I've got a couple of questions about these colleges, and if it applies, colleges in general.

1a) For the above three universities (and in general if it applies), do you apply to the university itself then the schools within it (e.g, business schools) or apply straight to the business schools [prospective undergrad student, Junior in HS right now].

1b)Also, are Stern, Carey, or McDonough available right at the start of going to that school, or do you have to complete a year as a Freshman there before applying for a transfer?

2) Out of those three, which is the best for international business/business - economics?

Thanks in advance.

Stern - You apply to the Business School
Johns Hopkins - Only 2 undergrad schools there (business is grad) but liberal arts + business interest exists
GW - Not sure.

NYU offers a very business-centric education while i like Hopkins offers a liberal arts education (Econ, int’l studies, entrepreneurship). Very different in size and feel and purpose.

NYU is by far the best of those three for anything business or economics related.

All right, thanks for the input. Out of curiosity, is it possible to apply to the general NYU school, then after a year or some amount apply to Stern?
