guys my friend's have trouble deciding between NYU's stern and London School of Economics for studying finance... he plans to work at a bank (doesnt know whether it's gonna be in the uk or usa yet)... which one is better?? both are obviously regarded very highly...

It is really a matter of choice. A person studying in the US is likely to stay in the US for work while a person studying in the UK is likely to stay in the UK for work. Keep in mind that some employers and graduate school may not accept international college degrees.

"...some employers and graduate school may not accept international college degrees."

That may be true of relatively unknown international degrees from second rate colleges (think Caribbean), but this is not very likely in the case of LSE.

I think LSE is more on par with Wharton than Stern is. Just my opinion though, and what I've heard from friends at all three schools.

nah i wouldn't go that far. London Business School is close but I would not praise LSE that much

well we're not in the usa to begin with, we're in thailand... studying at an international shcool.

but thanks for the feedback guys, i think he's choosing LSE.

lol just got your post of saying "not going that far" i thought you meant physically. nvm then...
