<p>I'm asking now because my parents are starting to get worried about the financial part of colleges</p>
<p>I would go to Michigan. Won't make any difference in the long run, its arguably a better quality of life, and you'll save the money. Its too good to pass up in-state against NYU.</p>
<p>If you get into both, I would go for Michigan, regardless of cost! But if you can save money by going to Michigan, it is no contest.</p>
