NYU vs USC

For those of you in the film and television program, why did you choose NYU over USC? I want to work in television when I graduate and I was wondering which one would be better for my desire. I think that NYU would be better for television because NYC is sort of the hub for TV and LA is the hub for Film/Movies. I love that NYU is in NYC, however there are many things I like about USC, too. There are also things I dont like about each school (location for USC). Anyone wanna help me out?

i got nothin to say
they are both amazingly great schoosl to go to for film or television...
actually

they are the best for film and television

Well, both are terrific for film. But I see you have NY pride. I can't really blame you myself =) I went to high school in the city and have a friend who headed out west to USC (not for film though) and he said he really misses NYC. And he actually really wanted to go to the West Coast. If you aren't that fond of LA now, then I say go to NYU.

I'm a current NYU student who lived ten minutes from USC.
I applied to Brown for Cinema and in the interview (they paired me up with a cinema major), my interviewee and i got really personal and talked about the different schools and basic tv/cinema schools. She basically told me NYU is more of the independent type as USC is to hollywood-big-blockbuster type. It really depends on what kind of film you're into. Obviously those are generalizations. Both are great, I say it boils down to location and for me NYC> LA.
