NYU vs. UVM

Edb, please know that my post above was meant as a response to Gemaco as I had not read your latest post above mine (we must have been writing at the same time). I think you wrote a thoughtful post and I hear your dilemma. Yes, cost is a factor and major difference. I don't think you can go wrong with either choice and it is not a right/wrong type of thing. I think it will be more in your gut. What I think might help you is to jot down on paper, the "pros" or attributes you like about NYU and another list for UVM. Sometimes when you read your list of attributes that appeals to you about each school, it can pop out at you as to which really fits what you want in a college (the criteria is quite an individual matter). So, think through your criteria and preferences and figure out which of these two schools most aligns with what you were hoping to find in a college. Congrats on your acceptances. And hey, if you go to NYU and IF my own kid chooses it, maybe your paths will cross.

I can't believe you are seriously considering this. Unless there is a financial problem, for the love of God go to NYU.

my sister did NYU GSP and she said it wasn't hard at all....

I'm sorry if i came across rude man that was the only way I could really get my point across. You obviously are very smart and i found it ridiculous that you would consider squandering an opportunity to go to NYU for a much weaker school. If it's financial, I completely understand. Im sorry I was wrong on that 90% stat that was what I was told once and I was way off and I'm sorry. That obviously shows the school is attractive to many people out of state and there's alot of diversity.

haha, im a girl, but thanks gemaco.... yeah, i understand what you mean. i talked to my parents however and they said that though nyu is siginificantly more expensive that we will be able to afford it! so it looks like im going to nyu :)
