NYU vs. UW Seattle vs. NE. in Program

Hi,

I am currently a student who is from Seattle, and is trying to decide which one to go to! Financial isn’t the big issue! It’s what will make the most out of my undergrad (and maybe beyond) career! I’m currently planning on maybe double majoring in electrical/mechanical/materials engineering and applied mathematics. I am currently taking classes at my community college and will have completed all of calculus based physics, linear algebra, vector (multivariable) calculus, and differential equations upon graduation. Please give your thoughts! In addition, although I know that I’m supposed to email individual colleges about transfer credits, what would be your guess on the likely hood of those transferring to individual colleges? (Obviously UW would be greatest given its approx. to my community college)

Thanks

What will make the most of your undergraduate career is… you. What you choose to do, go to office hours or not, look for a research position or not, get acquainted with the career services freshman year or not.
Cross out NEUin program: not worth it considering your objectives and current academic achievements.
THen it’s NYU vs. UW Seattle, and, let me guess, NYU is vastly more expensive.
It won’t do anything for you that UW can’t. So, same the money, attend UWashington Seattle, and use some of the savings for a semester away in NYC during your 4 years, and/or for nice trips during the breaks, and/or study abroad.

Thanks for your input! That helps a lot
