ah my stomach hurts… i am so nervous
I feel kind of guilty for those people who didn’t get in, just because I might not even attend NYU in the end (sorry in advance haha)
i didn’t apply but I applied to BU and im considering going there if I dont get off the nyu waitlist. @nico_98
@tsestich53 thanks, bro!! Good luck in NYU!
gosh, im so nervous guys…
@khan28 are you doing IB or ASp’s (idk the actual name of them…)
in my high school I take APs @nico_98
ok ok, I take IB and I’m also in high school. Here in England they don’t offer APs, have u got the exams now then @khan28
yeah i have stats tomorrow-- it’s my last one – i can’t focus on anything but this waitlist tho haha @nico_98
@nico_98 hi did you get spring term or full term if you don’t mind me asking
What do they consider soon, an hour or 6 h?
Spring 2018 @student3662
so okay: has anyone who received the interest email gotten in tonight? also has anyone who got that email for stern gotten in?
@khan28 good luck mate! I’ll keep u updated through this group on my decision whether to attend NYU or Northeastern!
@screamingbee Same for me. Got the email Monday, can apply for housing 2017-2018 freshman, but haven’t received an email today? Has everyone else who got the Monday email gotten an official acceptance today?
"In response to the questions above, roughly 15% of our applicant pool of more than 67,000 were offered spaces on our wait list. By May 1, roughly half of that 15% responded that they would like to remain on our wait list.
The update above was with regard to first-year candidates for admission only. We still have plenty of offers of admission to extend for those students who have applied for transfer admission. We aim to have the vast majority of transfer admission decisions made by May 16 or very soon after." -Shawn Abbott
This is from the NYU admission’s blog. Does that mean they are trying to do the transfer admissions first? Has everyone that gotten in is for Spring 2018? Wait is that what transfer admissions mean ?
thanks! okay, cool @nico_98
@kryber1234 no, that’s not what that means. Someone who applied as a transfer student asked a question about whether or not the waitlist update applied to transfer students, which is the only reason that date was mentioned as it is only relevant if you applied as a transfer student. Transfer admission means you are applying to NYU after being at another university, Spring 2018 admission is still freshman admission, you just start a semester later than most of the freshmen.
wait @khan28 is Spring 2018 meant to be the transfer applicants who got in or just normal applicants?
Northeastern’s co-op program is great for getting job experience
