I have nothing to write for the second one. The only significant award that I’ve received since turning in my app is being named a National Merit Finalist.
@ClassOf2020x Its not just awards!! I wrote about increasing my gpa/ starting a mini nonproft, spearheading fundraisers at my school and reading feminist novels !
@kenzielouwho Thanks! I thought it was only for awards so I felt really lousy having pretty much nothing. That gives me some ideas now
@ClassOf2020x No problem Im glad I could help
@kenzielouwho Oh man I’m sorry The college admission process is wack tbh. The way they admit students is so unpredictable. I really hope you get off the waitlist for your schools! Do you have any college in mind that accepted you that you might want to go to?
@scholar861 Ohio State University but its like 20 minutes from my house and I don’t want to go there at alllll so im praying one of these schools take me off the waitlist :((
@kenzielouwho Crossing my fingers that you get in!!!
@kenzielouwho I was thinking about Ohio State too but I heard there’s mostly only white people there so I had second thoughts.
@Canon7130 lol
I like a good amount of diversity, thank you very much. Lol
@Canon7130 Lol I definitely agree with you too. That is one of the reasons why I like NYU and want to go to college in NYC because its a diverse place.
waitlisted from stern… please…
@Canon7130 There is diversity at osu Columbus is very diverse and they even do a diversity scholarship!
@kenzielouwho

Guys just wanted to know if we could see the decision on the website because I was sent an email. I was told you had to accept the waitlist offer, where can I do that?
Thanks
@Liveitlight
Link to the RSVP form is on the email they sent you.
@Canon7130 Just wanted to know how long should the final responses be. Should I make it sound like a professional essay or keep it casual.
thanks for the RSVP tip
@Liveitlight
I haven’t filled it out yet but I think @scholar861 can answer that for you. Personally I think it would be better to be professional than casual to show more interest.
Anyone know how they do financial aid for waitlisted students? Like would my package be the same if I got off the wait list as if I got in originally?
@Liveitlight Yeah I agree with @Canon7130 . I think it it best to be professional for the questions since they are just asking you to elaborate why you want to go to the school that you have chosen. As for the length of your answers, I wrote a bit over 500 words, but I don’t think it has to be that extremely long. I think a paragraph is enough.
