Hook?: I have started a tutoring business in past month, when August comes, we have 28 clients set up already, pulling in about 2,500 a month business wide with 2 tutors, me managing/owning/tutoring. By Christmas we project about 45 clients, 4 tutors, about 4,000 a month. No my parents are not running it, in fact they barely know about it.

I'm looking purely at business schools, in order of preference.

NYU (Stern)
Wharton
McCombs
Ross (U of Michigan?)

Thanks, first 3 I'll chance back!

I honestly don’t know too much about the schools you listed but I do know that getting into Wharton with that GPA and those scores is gonna be pretty tough. I mean its Wharton. It would be nice if your unweighted GPA and your test scores were higher. Don’t get me wrong, a 3.84 and a 32 are pretty good. They just aren’t great. However, you seem to be very strong in the extracurricular department. Also, from what I have heard, an essay can make or break being accepted to a school. If you can write an amazing essay who knows. But hey, I’m just a kid trying to get accepted to colleges too, what do I know. Just thought I would give you my opinion. Hope it helped. Sorry if it didn’t.

Oh… schools might also find what you have already done with the tutoring business impressive.

I plan to retake in September, but thank you very much for your input!

You will probably get into McCombs. Stern and Ross will probably be a match, and Wharton will be a reach. Your definitely a leader, one thing you can do to raise your chances is take SAT Subject

Does it matter on the SAT subject test? US History and Math are my best will those be fine?

Sure, I mean it will help admission officer know what your strengths are

Take Physics also, since it seems like you are very good at that. Looks like you would probably get an 800 on that and math ii. Raise your ACt to at least a 34 also. That plus your extracurriculars gives you a great chance at wharton, however it is still a crapshoot.

ACT score is a bit low for Wharton, other than that you look pretty solid. ECs are lacking s bit too, but I’d say you could get into th non-whartons on ur list

I think you have a good chance…
Wharton is like reach for everyone… some of your ecs are great… but i think you could have a greater chance if you had more business ecs…but those are good enoguh
so overall, i think you will do fine.
GOod luck!
