<p>I really want to transfer to NYU next fall, but my GPA last semester was only about a 3.4, however it should be about a 3.6 this semester. I am taking 20 credits of quite difficult courses, and next semester my GPA may be higher than this one. I go to Drew University, a top 60 LAC in NJ, and I write for the school newspaper and may get an internship/scholarship for the summer in journalism. What are my chances for the School of Ed at NYU? <p>What's your SATs? I say NYU is a reach, but if you really emphasize your journalism skills there's a possibility.</p>
<p>I honestly wouldn't say that it is a reach per say. Dpn't get discouraged. But copper is right, you have to make your passion in journalism your "prostitute" and put it out there as much as possible. Pimp it for all its worth. Really.</p>
