NYU?

I understand that more goes into the admission process than just looking at grades and test scores, but I am just wondering if my grades are up to par for NYU?

SAT: 2130
Rank: 31/840
GPA: 6.7 (6 point weighted scale, all As, all honor/AP for core classes, several honors electives)
I am taking the ACT next Saturday

I assume 6.7 is a misprint. If you mean 4.7, then your academics should be good enough to get in, although it wouldn’t hurt to improve your SAT. If you mean 5.7, then your academics are definitely good enough to get in.

I understand what you are saying, but 6.7 is correct. My school is so weird and basically gives you 6 points for an A in an on level class, and 7 points for an A in an honors/above level/AP class. So highest possible GPA is a 7.0 but technically that’s still impossible at my school because you are required to take classes that only offer 6 points. Thanks for your feedback!

You will get in.
